License Testing

  • Testing and Upgrading Information Ready to test or upgrade your license? Our next test session is scheduled for the last Saturday of every odd month. The test will be held at: Location: 2751 Woodlawn Rd, Woodlawn, TN

  • Time:
  • 1:00 PM

  • Important Information for Upgrading Your License:
  • Extra Copy of License: If you are upgrading, bring an extra copy of your current license.
  • FCC FRN Requirement: The FCC no longer uses Social Security Numbers on paperwork. You must obtain a FCC Registration Number (FRN). Visit the FCC website to get your FRN, and bring it (written down) to the test.
  • Identification: Bring TWO forms of ID. One must be a PHOTO ID.
  • Calculator: You may use a calculator during the test, but cell phones are not allowed.
  • Test Fee: Bring $14.00 in cash for the test fee.
